Students for Gun-Free Schools

Students for Gun-Free Schools was founded by students directly affected by the Virginia Tech shooting, including victims and family and friends of those who perished. We support legislative action to keep weapons out of the hands of terrorists and criminals. We strongly oppose efforts to push guns into classrooms. In addition, we work to encourage discourse between university administrators and students, in an effort to prevent violent crime and suicide on college campuses.
